Xcel

Why we stock it
Hawaiian wetsuits that make cold water feel optional.
Xcel began in 1982 on the North Shore of Oahu, where founder Ed D'Ascoli started making suits for surfers who wanted warmth without losing the feel of the water. Four decades on, the brand is still known for the same two things: fabrics that stretch and stay stretchy, and seams that keep the water out. Its Drylock suits have picked up more industry wetsuit-of-the-year awards than most brands manage in a lifetime.
Exmouth is not Hawaii. Our winter sessions happen in water that punishes a poor suit, which is exactly why we stock Xcel. A good 5/4 with a hood turns a January foil session from a dare into a regular.
Wetsuits are the one thing we always say to buy in person. Come in, try a few sizes, and we will match the thickness to the months you actually ride.
